About Our School Group & Homeschool Programs

Glenbow Ranch Park Foundation nature based field trips are on treaty 7 land, as we learn with nature we recognize the past, present, and future generations of the Stoney Nakoda Nations, the Tsuut’ina, the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, and Piikani), and the Metis Nation (Region 3) who first lived and learned here. In the spirit of reconciliation, we recognize the continued importance of these lands to all who make their home in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta.

Nature based school fieldtrips include:

  • Ecology of the grasslands field study
  • Explore pond field study
  • Guided walks & custom programs
  • Archaeology in the park
  • Archaeology in your school
  • Running with the Ranchers in Association with Alberta Beef Producers
