Glenbow Ranch Park Foundation – Summer Camps

Glenbow Ranch Park Foundation is currently accepting registrations for summer camps. We are closely monitoring Alberta Government announcements related to restrictions. We are confident that in a couple of months, the situation will be much different, and we will be able to safely provide summer camps. If for some reason this is not possible, we will issue a refund to anyone registered.

Campers with a love for the outdoors and exploring the natural world will have a fun, action-packed week at Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park. Each day will be unique with fun hands-on activities, hikes, games, a guest visitor, and crafts! The camp will mainly consist of outdoor activities, but campers will have a home-base out of the educational facility if the weather is an issue.

Thank you to the Alberta Conservation Association for their continued support and helping make these summer camps possible!

Participants can register for the following camps:

1. Buzzing Bumblebees, Burrowing Birds, and Brown Bats (ages 6-9):

Campers will discover the winged wonders that live at Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park. Campers will learn about the flying creatures, and the special adaptations they have to help them survive at the park. They will explore the wonders of grasslands and wetlands through hikes, fun activities, storytelling, and crafts!

2. Glenbow’s Grassland Protectors (ages 6-9):

Every day will be a grassland safari adventure, where campers will discover the animals that live at Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park. They will learn about the Indigenous people that took care of this land for millennia. Campers will gain an appreciation of how they can protect the grasslands!
