Guided Quarry Tour – June 5

Guided walks throughout Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park are a unique way to experience the park with a guide who is knowledgeable about history and nature in the park. This guided walk is one of a kind! The moderate level hike will start with a golf cart shuttle to the trailhead. From there, experienced guides will lead us to the historic Quarry in an area not accessible to the public.
This is a moderate level hike that mostly follows cattle trails and includes some rough terrain, with a round trip of about 5km. The tour will last 4 hours, including the golf cart shuttle. Please dress accordingly for the weather and the duration that you will be out in the park.
What to bring:
- Clothes for all weather
- Hiking boots or solid shoes
- Water/snacks
- Hat/sunglasses/sunscreen
- Hiking poles are recommended
