Summer 2026 is shaping up to be an unforgettable season at Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park. The Glenbow Ranch Park Foundation is excited to offer seven unique summer camps designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and connect kids and teens with nature in meaningful ways. From hands on exploration to creative expression and leadership development, these camps provide enriching outdoor experiences for a wide range of ages.

Whether your child is just beginning their outdoor journey or ready to take on new challenges, there is a camp that fits their interests and energy level.

Wild About Wetlands Summer Camp (Ages 6 to 8)

This camp introduces young explorers to the fascinating world of wetlands. Campers will hike through grasslands, learn about wetland plants and animals, explore ponds through safe hands on activities, and enjoy games, crafts, and golf cart tours. It is a perfect mix of learning and play in a natural outdoor classroom.


Mystery of Archaeology Summer Camp (Ages 6 to 8)

Budding explorers will uncover the stories of the past through simulated archaeology digs and hands on artifact exploration. Campers will learn how archaeologists work, visit real sites within the park, hike scenic trails, and assemble a real bison skeleton. This camp blends history, science, and outdoor adventure into one exciting experience.


Nature’s Stage Summer Camp (Ages 6 to 8)

Creative minds will thrive in this nature inspired art camp. Campers will create outdoor art projects, enjoy guided nature walks, take part in group games, and relax during picnics by the Bow River. The natural landscape becomes the stage for imagination, creativity, and playful discovery.


Navigating Through Nature Summer Camp (Ages 9 to 13)

This adventure focused camp teaches navigation skills through hands on exploration. Campers will learn to read maps, use GPS tools, take part in geocaching activities, hike through diverse landscapes, and participate in team challenges. It is an engaging way to build confidence and outdoor awareness.


Bike Glenbow Summer Camp (Ages 9 to 13)

For kids who love to stay active, Bike Glenbow combines cycling with outdoor learning. Campers will ride park trails, explore ecosystems, and learn about conservation while enjoying daily bike adventures. This camp encourages healthy movement, environmental awareness, and teamwork in a fun and energetic setting.


Nature’s Stage Summer Camp (Ages 9 to 13)

This camp gives older campers the chance to dive deeper into outdoor creativity. Activities include nature inspired art projects, group games, guided walks, and riverside picnics. It is a great choice for kids who enjoy creative expression in an outdoor setting.


Outdoor Leadership Summer Camp (Ages 13 to 17)
