Cheryl Munson is the Executive Director of the Glenbow Ranch Park Foundation, leading a new chapter focused on expanding public awareness, strengthening community connection, and significantly growing fundraising support for one of Alberta’s most treasured natural spaces.

A third-generation Calgarian, Cheryl brings a clear vision to the role: position Glenbow Ranch provincial park as both a must-visit outdoor destination and a celebrated historical landmark- not only for visitors from beyond Alberta’s borders, but as a cherished gathering place for Calgarians, Cochranites, and surrounding communities. With a background in government relations, advocacy, and fundraising, and 2 decades of experience in the fitness industry, Cheryl is an avid outdoor enthusiast and a mother of two. The role connects deeply to her own family history and passion for Alberta’s landscapes.
