Climbing north from Bowbend Trail this pathway ambles along tree-lined, spring-fed McPherson Coulee. As you walk the edge of Windmill Flats west of Badger Bowl, magnificent views span from Cochrane to the Rockies.

Trail Details:

McPherson Trail is the Park’s newest trail, providing inteconnectivity between Badger Bowl and Bowbend Trail.

This steep gravel trail climbs out of the sheltered and wooded McPherson Coulee on the west end of the park. It levels out and stretches east along Windmill Flats, skirting the edge of the park and connecting the steep western limits of Badger Bowl with the western portion of Bowbend Trail.

A northern branch of the trail dead-ends 0.3 km up McPherson Coulee, north from the trail junction.

The south and west views afforded from this trail are unrivaled.
